What was the effect you were after??
I dont' know Chic....but, this ain;t it...LOL
I find it very busy.........maybe if some of the insets were in B&W it might not seem so. This is just a thought
Thanks Chic....I'll play around with it more after I run errands. This is why I love this group...
I could probably change the opacity on the tartan background some too.
OMG....I didn't save the layer with the adjustments and the dragon...crap..this is not my day...
oHHHHHH YES i HAVE DONE THAT
Bringing down the opacity of the tartan would help a lot I believe.
gonna do it over when i get back
Your off to a good start. I think doing the things you two discussed would help alothttp://wse3222.multiply.com/journal/item/73/Mono_Monday_Plus_-_October_11_2010
Cool! It is too cute! Empress C's Mono Plus
How I wish I could photoshop - in aww as ever Linda!
I think it is a wonderful remembrance of the day!
Great work Linda. I see what you mean though with it looking a bit busy. How about keepingthe backgrund neutral and then do something with the tartan in a frame perhaps?Anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product...http://monomondayplus.multiply.com/journal/item/11/Mono_Monday_Plus_Oct_11th_2010
trust me i have those days ..more oft than not...and i think we have determined that it is a tad busy...mia may be on to something with the tartan frame idea..or even a tartan mat...i believe its just the amount or the layout..maybe lay them in from larger to smaller front to back..adding a bit of depth so they arent competing with one another..but im sure your Muse will set you straight when its time...still this is part of the learning..and shoot i dont even have one yet
