Images and Words~~~Red

Okay, this took forever!!!!  Picnik wouldn't work for me at all.  I have no idea what's up with that.  Then, PS elements 7 gave me a fit.  And, seems I don't have enough virtual memory.  This isn't exactly what I wanted but, I'm done for tonight.  LOL

  1. Oh Linda I so feel your I had trouble with picnik tonight as well. I am assuming it is a beautiful red rose, but with my video card problem I can not read your words sorry. Not your fault it is mine.

  2. O my Luve's like a red, red rose
    That’s newly sprung in June:
O my Luve's like the melodie
    That’s sweetly play'd in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in luve am I:
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a’ the seas gang dry:

Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear,
    And the rocks melt wi’ the sun;
I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o’ life shall run.

And fare thee weel, my only Luve
And fare thee weel, a while!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho’ it were ten thousand mile.

My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose

  3. That Burns poem is so fitting Linda and I think you did a great job with the red rose. Sorry to hear about the Picnik trouble, it was a bit strange with me last night as well... Thanks for entering this week!

  4. Thanks so much Linda. That makes it nice for me.

What a great poem it is as well.

  5. Have you tried writing the text in a word processing program and copy and paste into a text layer on the photo - works in photoshop, not sure about elements...?

Looks good though, your struggles were worth it!

  6. I could easily read the beautiful poem that goes perfectly with the beautiful rose.

  7. lovely, everything about it, the position of the flower, the way it goes from dark to light, as if the rose is illuminating the page...I love it!

  8. Well, I think it's beautiful....
