Mono Monday Plus #26 (MM #40)

My entry this week, my grandmonster, Matthew.  I think he loves the lake as much as I do.  I have several shots where he's just sitting gazing out over the lake.  I had a time getting any shots of him at all this day.  LOL  When I asked him to look at me he said "Nanny, I want to look at the water".

This is two shots, layered then changed to black and white.  I used paint.net.

  7. Ok, you always do good work. Stupendous, even. But THIS is a real keeper. This is the sort of thing you blow up to 17X24 and hang on the wall. I can't stop looking at his eyes.

  12. That is simply beautiful and heirloom worthy in my book .. you captured anything but a monster there, he looks like a wonderfully thoughtful and pensive young man. What arresting eyes he has.

  13. Awe he is adorable. I love the image of him looking away at the water. I think I like it better than if he had been looking at you as it appears very natural.

  14. I love the picture of Matthew however if I can be honest I am not sure about the tree line as it gives him a strange hairline! How adorable is he by the way!!!!!

  16. Wow... this really pulls the viewer in to take a closer look. Love the stylized look. Very contemplative. Wouldn't change a thing... for it captures a more detailed story than just a snapshot of a moment. A true artist to draw us in.

  17. This child is full of the two most important ingredients. Promise, and love. So much so that it leaps from the screen. Excellent portrait
