in her dreams she waits. the night is bright the moon is full. she remembers the last time they were here.
his touch like fire burning every part of her inside out.
for this she waits.....
her name he calls like the sweetest song, words of undying love he whispers.
for this she waits.....
as she stands in the moonlight she prays he'll come she dreams of the first time..
he reaches out and takes her in a warm embrace
for his kiss she waits...
his lips move ever so lightly over hers, her heart pounding her blood races
the softness dissapears passion rages the battle of love begins
as she remembers she waits...
her body tremors from his every touch every kiss she is his for always
their hearts, body and soul become one.
pleasure of pure extacy she cries out he calls her name
"ill love you always never forget me my love i shall return for you are my one my only wait for me"
as tears begin to fall her heart calls for him she cries out his name in sadness "i shall wait forever my love"
(but he will never come)
and she waits.......
Her Time To Fly
Her time to fly is drawing near
Our hearts filled with pain
Our minds with fear
A beautiful soul thats touched our lives
An angel she will become when it's her time to fly
Letting go will not be easy
As understanding still hasn't come
I pray God gives us peace and courage
When her time on earth is done
A gaurdian angel to all those she loves
Her body will be gone but
Her soul will watch from above
Never will we forget her love and courage in our lives
God's calling his angel home and we must find a way to say goodbye
We must cherish each moment with her till
It's Her Time To Fly
For my Aunt Mitzi who will soon become one of God's angels

Facets-any of the definable aspects that make up a subject (as of contemplation) or an object (as of consideration)
It seems to me that the facets of our lives are comprised of many things. They shape and mold us into the people we are. We have the times that are full of happiness and joy. Memories of family and friends. Some of which, are in our lives for only a short time but, leave us with so much.
There are the times of sorrow and adversity. Times that are filled with fear and uncertainty. I think these are the times that we grow and learn the most. Heart break and betrayal that fills us with doubt, not only about others but about ourselves. The journey back up is not always easy when we've been knocked down by the events in our lives.
I think the most important facet in our lives is Love. The ability not only to give love but to recieve it. My life is filled with Love. The love of my family and friends. My daughters and my grandsons. This is what I reach for in the difficult times of my life. This is what gives me the strength to pull myself back up or to stand strong when I'm needed by others.
Even with the rough times in my life, I have truely been blessed with what I have been given.

At the moment, I'm pissed, I'm hurt...I want to scream. And it's no ones fault but my own. I put myself back where I had already been...just to go through the same shit. Sometimes I think I'm the biggest idiot there is.
Being in love is for fools and idiots and I'm both!!!!!

She stood on the shore line alone. Watching the water as in came in. Letting the sound of it sooth her.
Her heart full of pain, she accepted the truth she could no longer ignore. The love she had given was not enough. No matter how long she waited, it never would be. There would always be someone else. She would always be just waiting in the shadows.
She knew the time had come to let go. She looked ahead, trying to see her life without him. All she could see was emptiness. There had to be more. Something waiting for her.
As she turned to go, she saw him standing there watching her. Waiting for her. In that moment she knew...
What she saw was the future. Something new.

When I first saw this weeks theme, I thought of shots of my brothers shiny heads. Then thought naw...give them boys a break. LOL And of course there's the cars and moon but, I figured there would be lots of those. So, I dipped into me archives...and got caught up in memories. I came across shinny red crawfish boiling in the pot. The gazing ball in Morticia's yard....and lots of others. LOL
I decided on this one. I took this in Feb at Mitzi and Clydes wedding. I liked the way the light was hitting the glass rocks. They shinned. So...here it is...

MM Monday...I've always enjoyed this and I'm gonna miss it when it's gone. I've learned a lot with this group. Not just from the Gator, who I really miss but, from many of you. The pictures I used this week are one that I took of my daughter and a sunset from one the rare days that Morticia and I had to just go out and play. After I blended the two pictures, I changed it to black and white and used a midnight blue filter. Not sure which one I like best. In the one in color, I used the color dodge when I blended and went down a little on the opacity. Looks like theres a sunspot on her face, guess I'll have to go back and fix that. I think I may print and frame one of these. Now, If I can just find the right combination of contrast on tones for the one I'm working on of Brandy.
I look forward to viewing the entries this week but, may have to wait until tomorrow. Just back from the hospital. Seems I'm a little dehydrated.
Y'all take care

The Picture Perfect theme this week is "Contrast". When I looked up contrast in photography, this is what I found:
"Contrast within photography can be found in a picture with light and dark colors, black and white high contrast photos, or a complimentary color scheme image."
This is a picture of my daughter, Tamara. Affectionately known as Tee. It's one of my favorites. On this day, contrast was in my favor. The color of her shirt, her skin tones, the background at the lake and her eyes. To me, everything came together to bring out the sparkle in her eyes.

THE ITSY BITSY SPIDER
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout,
Down came the rain and washed the spider out,
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
And the itsy bitsy spider climbed up the spout gain.
When I saw this weeks theme, a picture of my Grandmonster popped into my head. But, as I searched through Nursery Rhymes, I came across this. Suddenly, I found myself smiling. Memories of my daughters and Grandmonsters filled my mind. Remembering doing this with them. The laughter, the joy....watching little hands copy mine.

To me, each season has it's own unique beauty. There's something special about them all. In the winter, a cardinal, against the snow is a beautiful sight. In the picture below, I didn't capture a cardinal on this day. I added it from another day, out at the lake. I think it added to the peacefulness of this moment in time. It adds to the beauty of the snow on the creek.

Favorite post....for today, it would be this one. Our lives are full of contrast. Light and dark. Daily, we face the battles of life. It seems that in our darkest times there is always a light. A friend or maybe even a stranger can reach out and touch us and bring a peace and comfort.
Contrast is the dissimilarity or difference between things. Another meaning for contrast is in the context of colour. This can be the opposition of items that are compared or the act of distinguishing via differences comparison. The act of linguistics contrast is the act of expressing the distinctions between words.(It is used in the writing form compare and contrast)
- Contrast (vision), the difference in colour and light between parts of an image.
After seeing this weeks theme, this morning, for Picture Perfect, I searched through my pictures. I kept coming back to this one. It was taken the night of the solstice moon. It's not a very good picture but, to me it's a "contrast" between light and dark.
When I think of light and dark, other things come to mind:
And the following poem:
On The Wings Of A Dragon
On the wings of a dragon she flies
out of the darkness and into the light
Sadness and pain cannot find her here
There is no place for anger and fear
peace and tranquility fill her heart
as she soars though the heavens up to the stars
this is where she paints her dreams
of things to come, things unseen
and if in time she loves again
this will be where her life begins
When I wrote this, my emotions were all of the above. A "contrast" of feelings. A conflicting ball of confusion. A lot has changed, in my life since then but, there are still days that I look back.

Being the sweet little things we are, Morticia and I did as we were told yesterday. We did not go looking for snakes. (Any other time you would see these varmits crawling across the roads). Nor did we go play in the woods. We did exactly what we said and chased the sunset.

I took this picture some time last summer. Right after a storm. I've sat here and gone through so many but, this was the one that I kept coming back too. Too me, the sky is always so beautiful after a storm. It seems to hold hope .... promise, as the light shines through.
I'm not sure if I've used this one before or not. But, too me it fits.
I'm looking forward to viewing all the entries.

What does this have to do with the moon? Not a thing. It's just a line in the lyrics from this song that has stuck in my head. I just love the line.
As for the moon, I keep getting e-mails from a psychic This last one was telling me that I was born on a Sunday. Okay, I was sooo..... According to this person, I was born under a certain phase of the moon. Something to do with the Moon Goddess Isis. I possess untapped gifts. Hmmmm thing here is these gifts come with a price of 29.99 for 6 months. It's a pendant of Isis.
Now, I remember doing a blog about the Moon Goddess Diana. She was a hunter, warrior and such. From what I've been able to find on Isis, she was a healer and married to her brother. Another brother was jealous, had a box fashioned like a coffin, tailor made so that only the other brother would fit in it. Once the brother was in, he closed the box and hid it away.
Isis is said to have mourned to the extent that her tears flooded the Nile. She at some point found the box and retrieved it. Once again it was found by the brother who cut up her beloved into 14 pieces. The pieces he then scattered.
Isis again searched. She found all the pieces except one. Guess which part of the anatomy that was! It is said it was swallowed by a fish or crab or some such creature.
The myth goes on to tell how she replaced this piece with gold and brought him back to life. He is said to be the watcher of the underworld. Oh, and there was a child. He was associated with the sun I think.
Then there's Rhiannon. A Celtic Goddess. Now this myth I liked. She was to wed a man of her parents choosing. (Seems this was a trait that trickled down through history). She refused and married a human. Her story was interesting but, the blame phone rang and I haven't finished reading it yet.
