Mono Monday Plus #20 (MM #34)

My entry this week....Sheila.  I took two of her pictures and played with them. Using,  Again I blacked out most of the picture except around her face.  Then I added a layer of a shot she took on a recent trip across the pond.  Then I went to, changed the pic to Black and white.  Used the sandbox feature to add a burst of light.  Then added her name.

Mono Monday Plus #19 (MM #33)

I did this picture a few days ago using  I took the picture of me and blacked everything out except my face.  I used the lasso tool and the paint brush to do this.  Then I added then picture in the background.  I played around with the opacity for a bit and this is what I ended up with.
I haven't had anything on MM for a while.  Hope to get around to everyones page tomorrow night.
Y'all take care.

Soon it'll be that time of year again, when we all make resolutions, set goals and try to obtain them.  I did that last year and while I did make an attempt, I never finished it.
I always dreamed, when I was younger of writing.  I know you all are always saying I should but, I believe Multiply is as far as my writing will go. LOL
I did, at the beginning of the year, do some research, write some basics, for a story.  I played around with it for a couple of months but, for many reasons, time was an issue, I just let it go.
I did kick around the idea of trying to finish the story I began on "Picture to Words".  (part one, part two).  Again, time and other things got in the way.
Of all the things I've written or attempted to write, "On The Wings Of A Dragon"  is probably the one that means the most to me.  Although, there was one, "Curtain Of Dreams", that I wish I still had.  It's buried in my dead computer.  I never keep the things I write.  It's all just here or thrown away but, this one haunts me still.
But dreams do come true.   Sheila, aka Mavis,  is a perfect example of that.  She has just had her first book of poetry published.  "Quite Reflections".   Here, she shares her thoughts, dreams and the love she has for others.
I have always enjoyed her writings.  So you all, who have a love of poetry, check her out.  I will be purchasing an autographed copy of my own.
To Sheila"
I'm so happy for you.  Your dream is realized.  You are a true inspiration.
PS...Linda Beth, you will be happy to know, when I spell checked this, there wasn't one misspelled word. LMAO
Y'all take care.
