2/20/08 The Moon~Lunar eclipse

Out of 24 shots so far, these are the only ones that are okay. Checking my settings and going back out in a few. Gonna add as I go. Need to put them on flickr and write down settings.

  17. I did get a chance to see the moon when it looked like this, but my camera just would not let me see it thru the lens... Thanks so much for capturing it for all to see. It is a beautiful picture... Love and Friendship, lilangelwolf

  23. You all will be happy to know, I'm through adding pics here. LOL Went through this morning and deleted the crap ones. Cropped some to bring them in. There's one up there that I left the way I took it, except for the crop, then, edited the exposure.

  24. Okay, I've changed my mind. This one is Vamps Moon 2. I like the eerie look of it. Like fingers snaking across the surface of the moon. This is no reflection on the Vamp by the way...LOL

  29. I can't believe I caught it like that. My camera only goes to f8. I was gutted. LOL I did go to 1/1000 on the shutter, one time, after it was a full eclipse but, I couldn't get anything.

  39. The guy at Circuit City yesterday, couldn't believe I got these shots with my camera. My camera is a point and shoot but, it also has manual and custom settings. Can't wait to try moon shots with the new camera. Of course, I'm going to have to wait until I get another lens but, already found the one I want and horror of horrors, the damn thing goes on sale today.
