Picture Perfect~~~House and Home

Books, my home is full of books.  And as you can see, I love Nora Roberts.  Reading has always been a passion for me.  I'm very happy, ending the day, with a new book or even a book I've read before.

The day I took this picture, my time was spent right here.  At home, reading the day away.

I enjoy "Picture Perfect" every week.  There are so many wonderful pictures and stories.  Some humorous.  Some heart wrenching  and some so touching, they bring tears to your eyes.

  3. Not many things much better than a good book and a quiet place to read it. Roberts is one of my Mom's favorite authors.

  12. iniaku, her "Key Triology" is great. The first I read of her books was, "The Irish Born" Triology and I've been hooked ever since.

  18. Vamp, you wouldn't need it. You would like her "Death Series". Eve Dallas is one kick ass Chic.

  19. Does she get her "man" in the end.. and is there much heaving of bosoms....

sorry I even threw up a little in my mouth again just thinking about it....

    ReplyDelete
  20. She gets her man in the beginning. But, that's not the story here. She's a futuristic cop that deals with murders. "Creation in Death". A truly sick soul. She spins these tales with the blackest of killers in mind. Oh, and Roarke.....He's Irish....

She always gets her man, woman or even child, as the case may be.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Blah aul relationship books don't do it for me. Women shouldn't need a man especially if they go after murderers....

A bloke would get in the way looking for his socks or wanting his dinner made.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Not this bloke and they're married. They solve the crimes together. She doesn't cook or do laundry.

  23. Only in books Lindyloo.....

I'm sticking to my blood, guts and gore and hardcore porn, you always know where you are lol

  25. Oh lord...dying a slow death here....next you'll be talking about Danielle Steele.

  26. There are more than 294 million* copies of Nora Roberts books in print.
Over the last 25 years, an average of 21 Nora Roberts books were sold every minute.
There are enough Nora Roberts books in print to fill the seats of Giants Stadium nearly 4,000 times.
If you place all Nora’s books top to bottom, they would stretch across the United States from Los Angeles to New York City 10 times.

She must be doing something right.

  27. Yes, she is feeding the fantasies of poor misguided women...
    *ducking

  30. oh cool take of the theme, ty for sharing

  31. Yep, the Key Trilogy was great, but I wish she'd gone one book further and written the story of Pitte and Rowena. The Three Sisters Trilogy was my first forray into Roberts territory and I was hooked. I don't care if she's writing as Nora Roberts or JD Robb, and I don't care that the the books are very "formula", because the formula WORKS!
