PIcture Perfect-"Reflections

Some have already seen this picture.  I took it  a couple days ago, when I went out to take the trash.  I took my camera with me. LOL  Never know what you might find.  I noticed my Shadow across the ground and decided to take a picture.

What you see is my shadow reflected in a mud puddle.  In my shadow is the reflection of the light pole, trees and sky.

I enjoy Picture Perfect every week.  If you would like to know more...click here

  20. :-) I'll have to bring my camera out with me the next time I take out the trash. LOL It must have been a cold day, too... you've got a hoody on. Nice photo, Linda. I thought at first you were near the Washington Monument... and that was an obelisk (sp?).

Btw... I will be taking this week off from PPF. I posted a blog similar to this theme already here on Multiply. Here's the link if you'd like to visit it.

  30. Very cool shot. What I think I like more is the fact that you found this while doing a chore. Who's aware of potential beauty while thinking about garbage? Ahhh... (smile)

  44. Fascinating...I love the way the shadow makes the reflection visible, and the multi-layered feeling that gives the photo. I agree with with Carolena; it is just a big ominous, though I'm not sure why.

  45. Very cool! I really need to start getting in the habit of carrying my camera with me everywhere. I keep threatening to do it, but never do.... I love this!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I might have to start bringing my camera with me more often. Great picture.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Well that is fantastic!! My mind was not accepting the reflections in your shadow, you know shadow blocks light so nothing should be reflected, funny how the mind works, or doesn't work, fantastic effect of reflections and shadow, very unique!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. OK ~ duh ~ I'm back again.. must have been the angle of the screen on my laptop, all I originally saw was the "reflection" of you (your shadow). Now, on my desktop monitor, I can clearly see the reflection of the tree in the puddle! That is so cool! Glad I looked again!

    ReplyDelete
  53. very cool... makes me feel centered... calm... and smiling!

    ReplyDelete
  54. now that's about as cool a "reflective" shot as I've ever seen!!
